Does your child express the desire to worship God by using their musical gifts? Do you want to see them grow in their relationship with Jesus?
If so, we invite you and your child to participate in our Kids’ Praise Band where they can develop their love for God by serving others through music!
Please contact Dante & Bernadette Borcena at [email protected] for further information.

In His Image

In His Image Special Needs Ministry partners with our Children’s Ministry to provide the support of a “mentor” for some children with disabilities while their parents attend Sunday & Wednesday services.

If your child has special needs, and you feel he/she might benefit from some level of support, please contact Scott or Susan Hewer at (805)985-4075 prior to bringing your child to Children’s Ministry on Sundays or Wednesdays.

You’re the expert, so please allow time for you to share your child’s specific needs with us so that we can best serve your family. From there, we will joyfully do our best to pair them up with a caring trained & screened mentor.

Thank you for your interest in serving our children and families here at CCO! Below you will see a list of areas in which we currently have needs. Please select ALL options you are interested in serving in. *Please note that all volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and will require a background check.

To see each child come to know Jesus Christ at their personal Savior at an early age. Our desire is for every child to flourish and thrive in the study of God’s Word. We pray that they would have a lifelong intimate relationship with Christ that uniquely bears the character and image of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for children to experience God’s presence and provision. And so we devote time for worship, prayer, and studying the Bible. We encourage them to apply the truths contained in Scripture and to explore these truths for themselves. As each child grows in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit they will be “salt & light” to others through their words, actions, and choices.
So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce very kind of good fruit.  All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
